Bob has been a licensed real estate broker since 1980 and has been involved in the placement of more than $500,000,000 in private loans and institutional financing transactions.  Along with Stephen Rexrode, his partner, his primary focus is the origination, underwriting, sale, and servicing of mortgage loans for private investment offerings.

Prior to forming CRCC in 1993, Bob was President and a principal stockholder of Embarcadero Mortgage Corporation, a San Francisco based company he managed from its inception in 1976.  EMC originated and serviced mortgage investments that were sold to private investors and pension plans.  They also housed a brokerage division that placed large permanent and construction loans with institutional lenders.  As President, Bob helped EMC become one of the most respected private mortgage companies in the Bay Area. 

Bob is on the Board of Directors and a member of the Education Committee of the California Mortgage Association, a premiere private money lender and mortgage broker association in California, www.californiamortgageassociation.com, and a member of the Bay Area Mortgage Association.  He received a B.A. degree from Dartmouth College and now resides in the East Bay.  He and his wife have been married for 32 years and have two grown sons.

Stephen Rexrode, Vice-President & Owner

Stephen has been a licensed real estate salesperson for over 15 years.  Together with Bob, his primary focus is the origination, underwriting, sale and servicing of mortgage investments.   

Prior to forming CRCC in 1993, Stephen was a Vice President of Embarcadero Mortgage Corporation where he was involved in the origination and servicing of mortgage investments.  In addition, he supervised the accounting and finance department.

Stephen received a B.A. degree in Management Science from the University of California at San Diego and is a member of the California Mortgage Association and Bay Area Mortgage Association.  He lives in the East Bay with his wife and two young children.
